Let the doors swing open and wide as we celebrate the month of September as Open House Month. Make room for the Holy Spirit to show up in a big way. Open your hearts to sharing with others the Good News of Jesus Christ. Commit yourself to bring in a friend or two. Make yourself available to others for questions and ideas as you look for ways to continue growing you and your church.
September is a time when things start anew and fresh. Let this be the month you begin again – a time where rich blessings can be found in those who receive the message of love and a blessing for those who take the time to share it. This is a great opportunity to commit or re-commit yourselves to taking the best news this world has to offer out into the streets. Do not sit and wait for others to do it. Take the initiative! Be the one who steps out boldly in faith! Be strong and be encouraged! Be about our Father’s business – making disciples of Jesus Christ to transform the world. The Lord your God is with you always. Thanks be to God.
