DESCRIPTION:Michigan Area Disaster Response, in partnership with United 
 Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), is offering Early Res
 ponse Team (ERT) training in West Michigan. Early Response T
 eams fill a specific need in the early days after a disaster
 , and establish the presence of the church.  The purpose of 
 an ERT is to provide a caring Christian presence in the afte
 rmath of disasters. Who should attend from the local church?
   Anyone (lay or clergy) who is interested in being part of 
 an ERT.  If you are interested in bringing this training eve
