Studies show that healthy adults should aim to take at least 10,000 steps every day. A structured walking program can help you do that.
The #3 session of StepUp To Health is scheduled to start November 15, 2010. The goal of the challenge is to achieve at least 50,000 steps in a 7-day week. Various exercise and healthy activities can be converted into Steps and Bonus Steps to add to your weekly step total. Studies show that most people wearing pedometers automatically increase their number of daily steps by 20%!
There will be weekly individual prizes for qualifying participants. At the end of the 12 week session, Team Prizes will be awarded to the teams’ designated mission projects.
