Are there scholarships available?

Yes. It is our goal to enable all interested people to attend our events, regardless of their financial situation. Our conference scholarships are all need-based and first come. A scholarship application is available for download online or from your local church. Please fill it out completely, including the section that asks how much financial assistance you need in order to attend camp and have your pastor confirm the financial need. Please do not leave any section blank. Many local churches also offer camper scholarships as well.

How do I register for an event or camp?

In the back of every brochure is a registration form. Once you have filled out the form, you may either mail it to our office with your deposit, or you may fax it to our office and pay the complete fee by credit card. Online registration is also available.

How early do I need to register to attend an event?

Many of our events have a limited enrollment. Registration usually stays open until the event is filled. The earlier you register, the more likely you are to secure a space. We will start a waiting list once the camp is full and contact those on the list if space becomes available.

Do I need to be United Methodist to attend one of these events or camps?

NO! We welcome all people to attend our events. Although our events are affiliated with the United Methodist Church, we invite you to join us at any of our events.

What is your refund policy if I have to cancel from a camp?

If you cancel seven (14) days prior to a camp start date you will be issued a refund, minus the $50.00 non-refundable deposit when we receive your written request. With less than 14 days notice, no refund will be issued. If you cancel due to illness or a family emergency, the 14-day notice is not required. You will receive a full-refund after we receive a written request. (we need the request in writing for the business office.)

How will I know if I got into a camp?

You will receive a confirmation statement from the Camping Office and a welcome letter from your camp dean. The letter will have the specifics about what time camp begins and ends and what you should bring. The Camping Office will notify you if you are on a waiting list.
