I am the Chairperson of the Board of Ordained Ministry of the West Michigan Conference. As you may be aware, the Board assumes primary responsibility for enlisting and recruiting ordained clergy to serve in the West Michigan Annual Conference. We interview and evaluate candidates for ministry and make recommendations to the Clergy Session of the Annual Conference.
In addition, the Board performs many other duties of which you may not be aware. The purpose of this guide is to list some of the other responsibilities that the Board assumes and to provide a reference for whom to call when you have a question or need assistance.
