Camp Description:

Lake Louise is the place to be for high school youth. Renown for impacting and shaping young lives in addition to a beautiful year-round retreat center, this camp is located in the northern area of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula

Our campground is host to summer programs from the Detroit and West Michigan Conferences as well as camps sponsored by Lake LouiseMeals are scheduled as follows:

·        Breakfast 8:30

·        Lunch 12:30

·        Supper 6:00

What should I know about swimming and the waterfront?

1.    Swim tests will be conducted Monday afternoon.  All campers shall have completed a health screening with the Health Officer prior to swim tests (Sunday registration process).

2.    The Waterfront Director will explain the rules and regulations to the entire camp at the Monday swim period.  All who want to swim during the week must be in attendance on Monday.

3.    The Waterfront Director and two or more Lifeguards will be on duty during each swim period.  The Waterfront Staff shall have final authority on waterfront decisions.

 

Lake Louise Retreat Center:

 

The Center provides a year-round home to retreats from churches all over the state. The accommodations are barrier free, include housing for 24 in semi-private rooms, housing for 48 in dorms, deliciously furnished meals, and a spacious, cozy lounge with fireplace.
     

Located:

The camp is situated on Thumb Lake, just east of Boyne Falls. It is on the north side of the east-west county road C48, about midway between I-75 and US-131. The camp is approximately 50 miles south of Mackinac, 70 miles north-east of Traverse City, and 200 miles north of Grand Rapids and Lansing.
