Experience God, Fun, Family, and the Sandy Shores at Lake Michigan!
Have a fun, full summer! Plan on experiencing Lake Michigan Camp at least once this summer! Fun with friends, swimming, beach Olympics, soccer, team building, kayaking, sand boarding, archery, sling shot, volleyball, kickball, tire swing, floor hockey, life size chess set, trails, hills, sunsets, fire bowls, picnics and cook-outs. Each camp praises God through music/bands, has Bible-based activities and lessons, coordinated programs, a dedicated staff and small family and large group age- appropriate activities.

S.O.S: Serving Our Savior: Beach Party
What do you like best about Lake Michigan United Methodist Camp? The food? The staff? How about the beach?!? Come and join us for a beach party! We’ll enjoy a week partying with awesome friends and staff, studying God’s Word, and of course spending lots of time on the beach! The week will be complete with ice cream making, camp fires on the beach, and the John Denley band on Friday night. Don’t forget your sunblock and shades! See you at the beach!

Fun in the Son: Camp Idol
Presenting . . . . Camp Idol! We'll spend the week learning how to show the world just how awesoe our one true idol is, and how to be just like Him. In addition to Bible study, we'll play tons of fun games, do some crafts, make new friends, and spend time on the beach. It will be a great week to get to know God through the life and parables of Jesus.

This is High Adventure – we play hard and pray even harder. Climb up a lighthouse, sleep under the stars, and kayak on the big waves. Ride the huge slip-n-slide, play ultimate Frisbee, broomball, and disc golf. Challenge yourself on the ropes course, and dance to Christian music. Our Bible study is “Christmas in July!”

Design your own mission trip! With your youth leaders and Lake Michigan Camp assistance, structure your Oceana County Mission Project(s) to fit your group’s interest, skills, funds, and age group. Set the date and length of stay (2-6 nights.) Add camp and local activities to your adventure too! Share the Dining Hall and beach time with other camps/groups.

High school Extreme Challenge: The Tabernacle of Faith
High Schoolers – prepare for an Extreme Summer Adventure! Explore the “Tabernacle of Faith” Bible study, play basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Go sand dune surfing and challenge yourself in the team-building course. Mountain biking, archery, beach Olympics, ultimate Frisbee, and hanging out on the beach are just a few of our many activities!

This camp is the place where more than 75 families from all around the West Michigan Conference gather every summer. Several generations enjoy worship,sharing, and camping on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Youth/Adult Retreat Center

Cost: $12 to 17 per night with minimum and 2 night stay requirements

Want a youth or adult retreat in a beautiful setting? Define your own program and activities. The Retreat Center is available most of the year for groups of 30. The two large bedrooms sleep up to 15 students/adults each. Use the meeting room and kitchenette; Equipped with TV, DVD, Piano, meeting tables/chairs, and couches.

Church Groups, Sports Teams, and Individual Families can Experience God, Family, Nature, and the Sandy Shores May through October. Group size starts at 6 families and extends to 125 families at a time. Your group or family defines your program activities. Join a group or start a group/family tradition! Spacious camp sites, ½ mile of Lake Michigan beach with look-out decks for sunsets.
