As the Chairperson of the Board of Ordained Ministry of the West Michigan Conference, I am responsible to lead a team of Clergy and Laity with the task of enlisting and recruiting ordained clergy to serve in our conference. As a team, we take on the responsibility to interview and evaluate candidates for ministry and make recommendations to the Clergy Session of the Annual Conference. In addition, the Board performs many other duties. The purpose of this guide is to list some of the other responsibilities the Board assumes and provide a reference for whom to call when you have a question or need assistance. The persons listed below stand ready to assist you.
